Flashlight Egg Hunt: Children are invited to hunt for eggs using their own flashlight and basket. Registration is required for this event. Ages 5 and younger are $3 and will hunt at 7:30 p.m. Ages 6 and older are $5. The hunt takes place at Forest Run MetroPark, 1810 New London Road, Hamilton.
Pleasant Treasures Easter Eggstravaganza: The Pleasant Treasures Flea Market on Pleasant Avenue will have Peter Cottontail to visit with children from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The day includes cookie decorating, a balloon artist, face painting and more. Details
Trenton Easter Parade and Egg Hunt: The City of Trenton hosts an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Community Park. A parade begins at noon. The parade includes the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
Sunrise Service: An Easter Sunrise Service begins at 7 a.m. at the River’s Edge Amphitheater in downtown Hamilton. Hosted by multiple churches in the area. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating.
Opening Day weekend: The Cincinnati Reds play their first baseball game of the official season on Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Cincinnati Enquirer has a list of events happening this weekend to celebrate Opening Day.
