HEY! Hamilton! proudly announces our first collaboration with the Fitton Center for Creative Arts in presenting “The Fitton Center and Hey! Hamilton! present…Caroline Zancan in Conversation with Richard O!“, 7 p.m. September 24.

Ever wonder what it’s like to be an editor in New York? Or to have a published book? Join in on the conversation between two writers that have the same Hamilton roots and passion for writing.

Caroline Zancan was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio. She is a graduate of Kenyon College and holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Zancan is an associate editor at Henry Holt, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband. Local Girls is her first book.

Richard O Jones is a Hamilton native and a veteran journalist, currently the editor of the online community news magazine HEY! Hamilton! Named the 2011 Feature Writer of the year by the Ohio Associated Press, he is also the author of two books of regional history and maintains the True Crime Historian blog where he explores the scandals and scoundrels of the past.
